The cost of Builder's Risk Coverage depends on the value of the project, location and construction type. If you are starting a project, secure coverage before the project starts. Cost for this coverage increases dramatically after a project has already started.
How much is Builder’s Risk Insurance?

Do you have certain endorsements that we need?
Unless specifically stated, a typical builders risk policy won’t cover specific increased risks such as flooding or earthquakes. It also doesn’t cover injuries suffered by workers, therefore you’ll need any legally-required workers’ compensation insurance coverage, too.
What coverages are not included?
Once you have a policy with us, you’ll have 24/7 access to our online portal where you can instantly download proof of your insurance (also called a certificate of insurance, or COI). Log in to your account, download your COI instantly or get delivered via email. Get unlimited certificates and add an additional insured as you need them.
How can I get a certificate of insurance (COI)?

Our remodeling contractor policy may be all you need or we may recommend you consider our general contractor policy if your operations are a little bit bigger. It just depends on your unique needs.
